Spence keeps calling my 60th birthday "Significant". Does that mean a major milestone and my time is cutting down? Don't know! I do know that my 'get up and go' sometimes doesn't even exist.
What a fun weekend. Spence collected all the kids and in-law kids (we missed you Jay!) and grandkids here on the weekend of August 7th. We spent Saturday at 7 Peaks Water Park (for the grandkids...it is very important they enjoy Nana's birthday!) and then all went to dinner at Little America. What a wonderful day to be with all the ones I dearly love.
Thank you, honey, for giving me such a wonderful pre-birthday party. (My actual birthday isn't until Sept. 4th, but since we have so many grandchildren in school, etc. it was more feasible to do it in August.)You certainly know me and what I want most...all my children here with me!!!
That was the best pre birthday gift that I ever heard of. Your husband must really love you to gather all the children and grandkids to come over to nana's house for her significant day.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are referred to as nana-it sounds much more hip than plain ol' grandma. Let the other lady be called grandma-you and I both know that the grand part just adds to the age anyway.
