IFA 2010 Solvang, California Trip

Each year we travel with an incredible group of people from IFA. This year we went to Solvang, California known as the Danish capital of the United States. We stayed in a charming hotel that served the most incredible dinners! We also went to Hearst Castle former home of the newspaper dynasty, William Randolph Hearst. Talk about opulent! It was amazing that someone could live so extravagantly! Just before we left for home, we went to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum. That was amazing. We came away with a better understanding and appreciation for his presidency. It was a great trip!

Hearst Castle is located in the foothills looking over the ocean.
I cannot imagine having such a view of this earth and its beauties!

It looks like a fairyland castle up there!

Can you imagine swimming in this pool? I bet there are quite a few
stories about the swimming parties held here!

This is the exact replica of Pres. Reagan's Oval Office

President Reagan's final resting place

Air Force One was completely disassembled and hauled up the hill to the museum.
Once it arrived, it was completely reassembled. It is amazing! We loved touring it.

Thank you, Mr. President. We truly enjoyed our visit into your world.
Next, it was to the airport and home. We had a wonderful 4 days with great people, wonderful places to visit, and each other! It was perfect!!!
