Junior Miss 2010

We just finished a fun week as a 'Host Family' to 3 of the most incredible girls. Our friend and neighbor, Jana Sohm, is the producer for the Utah Junior Miss Pageant and introduced us to 'hosting' four years ago. That year we had 4 girls from all around Utah. Although we haven't been able to be a host family for the last two years, we were able to have another wonderful week with the 'cream of the crop'. 

These girls actually live close by but Junior Miss want them to have an experience that takes them away from every day life and into a home where they will be spoiled and really connect with the unique experience. We tried to do just that! Megan is a neighbor and she brought her two friends Lexi and Shelby with her. They had just gotten back from a drill team competition in Florida (where they won 15 trophies!!!) and came directly to our home for the week. These are amazing girls. They have it all...beauty, brains, brawn, poise, and heart!

                                     

Our granddaughter, Riley, came to the Friday night pageant ceremony with Saunie. Since she loves to dance, I thought she might really enjoy the performances. All of our girls were dancers this year. Saunie, Riley, and I went to dinner and then to the show. It was fun and Riley thought it was fun too!
