We had more fun in a week than anyone should be allowed to enjoy.
Idaho Falls
First, we drove up to Idaho Falls for a few days on our way to the annual IFA summer meeting and trade show. It just so happened Taison had a ball game and we were able to watch him play. It was so fun!!! Check out Taison in action!
This year we went back to Jackson Hole...our favorite site. We were spoiled staying in the condos this year at the Snow King Lodge. It was a bittersweet meeting. The president of IFA, Steve Palmer, announced his retirement as of Dec. 31st. He will be sorely missed especially since he has done a spectacular job. Thank you Steve for 15 years of excellent leadership!
Yellowstone and Island Park
We were able, along with the Palmers, visit our dear friends, the Arbons at their gorgeous cabin in Island Park. It was fantastic to drive through Yellowstone on our way to the Arbons. We saw buffalo, deer, and moose.
The Yellowstone Lodge was wonderful. The ice cream was pretty good too!
The geysers were really cooperating. 4 of the 5 actually erupted while we were there.
Here is a great video of Old Faithful doing its thing! It is pretty impressive!
Steve and Kathy Palmer / Sandy and Spence ready to float down the river.
Gary and Lynn took us and the Palmers on the Snake River. He is a pretty good river guide.
Hey, Gary, I think there is work after retirement on the river!
I am sure there is a better pic of me SOMEWHERE!Good friends are priceless. Thank you for making us 'rich'! We certainly felt spoiled...great food, plays at the Play Mill in West Yellowstone each night, 4 wheel riding, walks, and good visiting!
This was the most tranquil spot...a cabin nestled in the woods overlooking a peaceful pond. What a dream.

Nana it looks like soooo much fun! What a beautiful place! I have always loved Yellowstone.
